At our centre, we provide a short, structured rest period where children are encouraged to relax by laying their heads on the desk in a calm, quiet environment.

This approach is intentional and age-appropriate for primary school children, as it:

• Promotes mental downtime without requiring full sleep, which can disrupt nighttime routines
• Maintains hygiene and safety, avoiding the need for shared floor space or bulky bedding
• Maximizes learning and play time, keeping transitions smooth and efficient
• Reduces storage and cleaning needs, allowing us to maintain a tidy, clutter-free environment
